In this interactive game, the user is challenged to “Fight Back” against winter through 3 mini-games in a cinematic experience that features the athletes one by one battling through wind, rain and snow. The games are fun, simple, challenging and highly addictive finger drills using the arrow keys to keep pace with the athletes.

This site was a fun exploration in visual design, sound design and Javascript/HTML5 Canvas animation. Each line animates to the beat of a stem track while maintaining a unique characteristic based on amplitude, smoothness, and the shape of its oscillation. After exploring many techniques I decided to build this out using the Paper.js scripting framework, which proved to be very successful and innovative in its use of Chrome's new Web Audio API.

I built this site in HTML5 using the Isotope Javascript engine to achieve a nice masonry effect to display aggregated tweets, YouTube videos, and Facebook posts. Each team's score is calculated according to a ranking algorithm on the backend based on its social status.

Inside is a live entertainment experience, blending film and social media. I built a site that pulls dynamic, user-driven data from a custom CMS and displays it in real time to the users. The experience was a huge success with 235,000 people who participated and 10 million that watched.
Rihanna

Rihanna came to us for a long-term, easy-to-update site with a visually stunning, visceral experience. The site was developed using a custom WordPress backend and I developed a 3D interactive environment in Flash that the user first lands on when coming to the site. It pulls in data from her social media channels and displays it as 3D elements that the user can nicely swipe through.
Rio

Rio was a large project spanning about 6 months, involving 3 full fledged flash sites rolled out in several phases and tightly integrated into Fox's proprietary backend systems allowing for localization in all international markets. The final site was heavily animated with sequences from the movie, and the main concept was to build a lively, colorful beach-themed site that moves for the user with a strong focus on music. All characters and animations move to the current song that is playing to make for a fun interactive environment.
Gnomeo and Juliet

Disney's Gnomeo and Juliet was a fun and extensive project involving a full flash site rolled out in several phases and localized for international markets. I lead the development of this property which included a standard movie EPK, a game section which allows users to battle between the red and blue gnome families, and a Gnome Creator where users can customize their own gnome and print, download, and share it with their friends. I also developed a Facebook app and a native iPhone app for the Gnome Creator, both of which targeted domestic and international audiences.

This is a mobile app developed for Android using Adobe AIR, Etsy Colors generates color palettes based on pictures you take and find products across all stores on Etsy.com that match those colors. I did concept, design and development as a sideproject to introduce myself to the AIR for Android platform. The app is available as a free download in the Android Market.

The 'Wanted' Poster Creator was launched in over 20 countries in support of Disney's movie Tangled. The site allowed users to create their own poster by customizing the characters, and then print their poster out, download, or share it. I was in involved in the planning and lead the development of this property.
Toy Story 3

Launched in over 10 countries, The Toy Story Toy Creator displays a dynamic conveyor belt filled with custom made toys from users around the world in support of Pixar's Toy Story 3 movie. Toys can be customized with great detail, saved, printed, downloaded, shared on all major social networks, and a custom box can be created for your toy which can be printed (to be cut out and folded) and viewed in Augmented Reality. I was the lead developer on this project, and managed the entire development from start to finish while interfacing with the client (Disney/Pixar). I was also the first to introduce an Augmented Reality solution for a Pixar project.

Users can explore different environments with cool video transitions and play with many different interactive features. Other than a branded electronic press kit, the user can create their own personalized bobblehead (using Facebook Connect) and share it with friends, customize golf carts and race them, play mini-golf, play King of the Trampoline with a jumping chihuahua, and many other fun games and features. Most of the site is customized with an XML backend and a login system is built in along with leaderboards for all the games.

I joined during the latter half of this project and worked with a team of international designers/developers while playing a key role in maintaining the property and brainstorming future projects for Jim.

This was a personal project of mine that won first place for a competition Adobe and the US government put on in an effort to find more creative solutions to displaying government data. It's an interactive data visualization that takes a live dataset from the White House visitor logs, aggregates the data and figures out who is visited the most and for what reasons. The names enter a physics environment with an integrated soundscape.

I created a lightweight, highly extensible iPhone component set as a humble contribution to the Actionscript community in the wake of Apple's infamous move to no longer permit Actionscript projects to run natively on the iPhone using Adobe's iPhone packager. Performance, file size, and new features are continuously updated as I get the time.
Missiletoe Jam

User first chooses from one of the 3D toes or creates a custom toe with their friend's face via Facebook, then they choose a cloud message that the toe will write out in the sky. From this selection a movie is generated with the according missile toe and the user's face inside it flying through difference scenes and finally animating the chosen cloud message at the very end. The final movie can be sent to up to 10 friends via Facebook.
